Sad Heart

It is with a very sad heart that I am talking about the closing of one of our local retailers that was a amazing person and wonderful friend. I received the email at the beginning of this week that our local retailer The Memory Mill will be clearing its stock and closing it's doors for good :( This is very sad for anyone who knows Lori and of course Kevin and the girls..They are the nicest people and they would do anything for you ..The store was truly run on the motto that the customer came first. Lori will be sadly missed by all of us scrapbookers but we wish her and her family all the best in the future!! I am looking forward to actually being able to scrapbook with Lori now she will have some free time on her hands :) We love you !! Shanda

Time

It has been a very long time since I have posted a blog and I am sorry ...unfortunately the reality is we all get caught up in life and our social obligations go to the waste side as our family and work obligations take over. I have been doing very little scrapping these past few months again due to family comitments..I recently spent a entire weekend scrapbooking at a local event called Cropalooza ..it is a excellent way to get things done !! If you are interested then google cropalooza and look into this fantastic weekend away !!
I am also taking a amazing bus trip in the next few weeks to Novi Michigan and I CAN'T WAIT..it is a event that has many retailers and new ideas and I can't wait to pick some brains LOL ! This bus trip is being offered by Scrappin Great Deals and you can reach them threw their online store.
I promise to get some things ready to post in the next little bit...Hope you all are enjoying the nice weather.

CROP TIME !!

I am so very excited to be attending theTwo Scrapbook Girls Crop Event at the Dorchester Arena. This will be a very exciting day that will hopefully be very prosperous in finishing many layouts! I will be there from 8 am - 10pm and I can't wait to see how much I will get done. Good friends and good times life doesn't get any better then this!! This event is sponsored by the local scrapbooking store The Memory Mill (http://store.thememorymill.com/index.php) and by the local Creative Memories consultant..Both fantastic ladies that I consider to be my friends. I wish them all the luck in the world with this event and I am sure it will be a AMAZING time !! I will have to post what I get done when I get back ..until that time I will be busy packing and making sure I have everything I need for a busy day of scrapping !!

My Little Man

These two layouts are of my DS. The first one is a layout of him when he was 5 months old in his jolly jumper (one of my favs of him). The second layout is in the Basic Grey line Offbeay. He is 5 years old in this picture.

My Two Girls

The first layout is of my youngest DD with her first doll..it is in the Basic Grey line Euphoria. This layout was on the Basic Grey website for awhile before they changed the layout of the site. I was so proud! The second layout is my oldest DD on her first day of grade 3..the 3 is cut from Graphically Speaking Cricut cartridge. The third layout is of my youngest DD when she was 6 months old.

Here are a few more layouts we have recently done. The first one is a layout done in a line by K&Co. The second is a layout done in Basic Grey Indian Summer. You will notice that a lot of layouts are in a Basic Grey line... I am a tad addicted to Basic Grey.

First Post

We have finally decided to join the ranks of the bloggers. Our hopes are to create new projects on a regular basis and post them here to share with others. We would also like to use this forum to share new products we have found, and hope that other "Scrapping Sisters" will do the same.
